Fire at a fuel station in Benghazi. Dabaiba asks the Ministry of Local Governance to provide compensations

The Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, entrusted this morning the Ministry of Local Governance with the inventory and assessment of the damage caused by the fire of a Maltese service station in the city of Benghazi, to compensate those who have suffered damage.
Al-Dabaiba thanked the truck driver, Abdullah Al-Majbri, who kept his camion away from the fuel station so it wouldn’t explode, saying the man made it a priority to protect civilians more than himself.
The truck caught fire as it was unloading at the station where the fire also broke out, before the man pulled the truck away to avoid an explosion. Benghazi firefighters managed to reach his position and extinguish the flames. According to preliminary informations, the fire destroyed some cars on the street, while no human casualties were reported. The damage assessment is still ongoing.
